WHAT TO EXPECT!
During spring break, participants have the opportunity to spend 5 days helping in hurricane relief efforts. They will work alongside Puerto Rican students to construct an Earthship education and refuge center. Earthships are completely self-sustainable and are made from waste materials.
When hurricanes & earthquakes hit, these structures can provide food, water, power, and shelter for those in need, helping Puerto Rico become more self-reliant. The structures also address the growing levels of garbage on the island by incorporating it into the structures themselves.
